This is a bank role, meaning shifts are offered on an as-and-when-required basis, depending on the needs of the service. While hours aren’t guaranteed, the role offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a real difference.

The Role:

The gentleman enjoys meaningful conversations, sharing his knowledge and exploring his interests. His artwork is first and foremost to him, providing a way to express his feelings and his unique perspective on life and the world around him.

He loves painting and creates his art in a space in Glasgow. His family and interests also play an important part in his life, with a particular passion for Sonic the Hedgehog.

You’ll be part of a friendly, supportive team, helping individuals with all aspects of daily living. This may include preparing meals, supporting with medication, attending appointments and activities, managing personal finances, moving and handling, and personal care. Alongside this dedicated support, there may be opportunities to pick up additional shifts across our services.

You’ll also provide emotional support and help people maintain meaningful relationships with family and friends. Some individuals have complex communication needs and use a range of communication tools, so being patient, understanding and adaptable is essential.

To be a great Bank Support Practitioner, you will bring:
