Job summary

Nuffield Health Leeds Hospital is seeking a Bank Staff Nurse – Stoma Specialist to join our ward team. This role provides expert stoma care within the hospital and offers an ad-hoc bank schedule with pay up to £45 per hour depending on experience.

You will work autonomously in this specialty, collaborate with the multi-professional team, and support patients through their journey while contributing to a high standard of care.

As a Staff Nurse you will;

• Ensure specialist stoma care service is provided within the hospital.
• Clinically manage patient pathway in collaboration with members of the multi-professional team.
• Support patients through their journey.
• Act as a resource for healthcare professionals and others involved in the delivery of care to this group of people.

To succeed as a Staff Nurse- Stoma Specialist in our Ward you will;

• Have a registration with the appropriate governing body and have the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC.
• Have post-registration experience.
• Be an excellent communicator and team worker – plus be flexible and motivated.
• Have the ability to fully understand each patient’s needs and provide individual attention.
