Job summary

HCA UK in London Bridge Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to join the ITU. You will be part of a 28-bed critical care environment delivering complex, specialist care around the clock, with a varied medical and surgical case mix and access to advanced technology and equipment.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, assessing, planning and delivering care while collaborating with families to ensure joined-up treatment and recovery.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse with a valid NMC pin.
• Postgraduate ICU qualification.
• Proven experience within an Intensive Care Unit.
• Exposure to Level 3 patient care.
• Strong clinical judgement and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Working Hours: Long days and day shifts within the week. Commitment of one to two shifts per week

We’re looking for a Staff Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit at London Bridge Hospital. You’ll be part of a 28 bedded critical care environment where highly skilled teams deliver complex, specialist care around the clock. With a varied case mix spanning both medical and surgical patients, you’ll have the opportunity to build and deepen your expertise while working with advanced technology and equipment that support high acuity care.

As a Staff Nurse in our Critical Care Unit, you’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team made up of Consultant Intensivists, Resident Medical Officers and experienced Critical Care Nurses. Together, you’ll care for Level 3 patients in a setting designed to support safe, high quality outcomes, supported by strong nurse to patient ratios. In your day to day practice, you’ll assess, plan and deliver care that is responsive to changing patient needs, while working closely with colleagues and families to ensure a truly joined up approach to treatment and recovery.
