Job summary

Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking Bank Grade Senior Clinical Fellows for Medical & Dental roles across specialties. Bank work is offered on an ‘as and when’ basis with hourly pay and no guaranteed hours. The post requires GMC full registration and a designated body connection, with flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.

Salary ranges £55–£60 per hour. Applicants should be prepared for ward rounds, board rounds, and supervision duties within an acute hospital setting

Qualifications

• 6–12 months UK experience in a UK hospital.
• Competencies FY1 and FY2 both signed off.
• Ability to develop and maintain a sub-speciality interest.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between nurses, other clinicians, patients and relatives to support safe care.
• Attend and participate in board rounds, ward rounds and other related daily activities.
• Provide appropriate workplace supervision to other staff as requested.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, especially in documentation.
• Arrive on time for the booked shift and be available from the arranged start time.
• Attend local induction when working in new areas.
• Comply with Trust policies, including upholding the trust’s values and behaviours.
• Other duties commensurate with the post/grade as advised by the speciality clinical.
