Job summary

Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust is seeking experienced Speech and Language Therapists to join its staff bank on a band 7 level, with specialist skills in dysphagia, airways, ICU, head and neck cancer and neuro rehab.

Experience in videofluoroscopy and FEES is highly desirable. The role covers both acute and community settings and involves providing expert SLT input on a bank basis, with shifts or lines of work allocated as needed.

Job summary

We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapists with skills and experience in a range of specialisms to join the Guys and St Thomas' staff bank.

We are keen to hear from Band 7 level SLTs with specialist skills in management of complex dysphagia, altered airways and intensive care, head and neck cancer including laryngectomy and surgical voice restoration, acute medicine, older adults, adults with learning disability, stroke and neuro rehabilitation. Competence in videofluoroscopy and FEES is highly desirable. Our services cover both acute and community settings.

The Adult Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) service at Guy's and St Thomas' Trust includes Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals, Royal Brompton Hospital, Harefield Hospital and community services in South East London. We have considerable expertise within the team with members representing the profession on a number of regional and national groups as well as contributing to both local and national guidance and research.
