Job summary

Spire Norwich Hospital is recruiting a Specialist Radiographer to join our imaging team on a bank/temporary basis in Norwich. You will carry out CT duties, maintain high professional standards and liaise with consultants and the multi-disciplinary team.

The role offers exposure to cross-sectional imaging in a private hospital setting with opportunities for training, progression and flexible shifts. Siemens CT experience is preferred, and a patient-centred approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Specialise in CT with recent/current experience.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgement on complex cases.
• Experience in NHS or private imaging department.
• Experience with Siemens CT scanners.
• Carry out CT duties within cross-sectional imaging to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all aspects CT duties within the cross-sectional imaging department to a high professional standard.
• Perform imaging examinations with a high level of patient care, demonstrating awareness of responsibility to and advocacy for patients.
• Perform a wide range of CT examinations.
• Maintain proficiency in all modalities of X-ray, standing CT, DEXA, and theatre operation specialities.
• Liaise closely with consultants and colleagues within the multi-disciplinary team.
• Ensure that high professional standards are maintained throughout the department, in terms of dress, technical quality and patient care.

Spire Norwich Hospital have an excellent opportunity for a Specialist Radiographer to join our imaging team on a bank/temporary basis.

Spire Norwich Hospital holds a long-standing reputation for providing high quality, comprehensive private hospital care. Our facilities are excellent and the hospital is staffed by a valued team of highly skilled professionals. We have 4 theatres, 2 wards, comprising of 50 beds, and deliver a range of outpatient services through our busy and dynamic outpatient and diagnostic imaging departments providing a progressive and stimulating environment for our highly motivated team

Duties and responsibilities:

1. To carry out all aspects CT duties within the cross-sectional imaging department to a high professional standard.
2. To perform imaging examinations with a high level of patient care, demonstrating awareness of responsibility to and advocacy for patients.
3. To perform a wide range of CT examinations.
4. To maintain proficiency in all modalities of X-ray, standing CT, DEXA, and theatre operation specialities
5. Liaise closely with consultants and colleagues within the multi-disciplinary team.
6. To ensure that high professional standards are maintained throughout the department, in terms of dress, technical quality and patient care.

Who we're looking for:

• Apply technology for measurement, monitoring and treatment.
• Recent/current experience specialising in CT
• Experience of working effectively within a team
• Can demonstrate application of sound clinical judgement to a range of complex cases
• Worked in an imaging department within the NHS or private sector#
• Siemens CT scanner experience.
