Job summary

Advinia, a leading care provider with 36 homes across the UK, is seeking a Senior Care Assistant in Knowsley. You will work closely with Nurses or Deputy Manager to deliver compassionate, person-centred care and supervise care teams to ensure high standards of resident wellbeing.

The role involves administering medications, supervising staff, developing care plans and ensuring adherence to CQC guidelines. Shifts include a day rotation 08:00–20:00 and a night rotation 20:00–08:00.

Qualifications

• Experience in elder care and medication administration.
• Ability to supervise and mentor care staff.
• Competence in updating and implementing care plans.

Your New Role...

Our talented Senior Care Assistants lead our Care Teams to provide the highest standard of care, compassion and resident dignity. Working closely with the Nurses orDeputy Manager, you will be tasked with:

• Administering medication
• Providing hands on, high quality Resident Care
• Team supervisions
• Developing, implementing and updating care plans
• Adhering to CQC guidelines
• Coaching and mentoring your team whilst identifying training needs

The day shift is: 08:00 - 20:00
The night shift is: 20:00 - 08:00
