Job summary

Brainkind is seeking a Bank Rehabilitation Support Worker in Horsham to support adults with acquired brain injuries alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team. You will encourage independence, build confidence and help people achieve meaningful goals in a supportive environment.

No prior specific care experience is required; your personality and values are key. A manual Driving License is essential, and comprehensive training and development are provided to help you grow in your role.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality care and smooth operation of shifts.

Salary: A competitive rate of up to £14.21 per hour plus £1 location allowance

• Have genuine empathy for our residents, with the positivity, patience, and resilience to support them through the difficult times of their rehabilitation
• Enjoy teamwork and take pride in getting a job done well alongside your colleagues
• Have excellent face to face communication skills and a good standard of literacy
• Have good time management skills and the ability to prioritise your own workload.
• A manual Driving License is essential for this role.

Must be able to administer medication, or be prepared to be trained in medication.

• Experience of supported living is preferred.
