Brainkind in Garforth, Leeds is hiring a Bank Rehabilitation Support Worker. Salary is £13.71 per hour with a £1 weekend/bank holiday enhancement. No prior care experience required as full induction and specialist training are provided.

Bank Rehabilitation Support Worker

Working in brain injury rehabilitation is different to other kinds of support work. You’re there to encourage and guide individuals, helping them gain the skills and confidence to live independently.

You will share the journey with these inspiring people as they overcome hurdles, achieve milestones, and reach the goals they’ve set. Many of the people we support only stay for three months before they are ready to move on. You can make a massive difference in that time.

Our assessment centres, rehabilitation units and hospitals use expert neurorehabilitation to support people to regain the skills they have lost. The Role

Daniel Yorath House specialises in the assessment and rehabilitation of people with an acquired brain injury and complex needs such as cognitive, physical and/or emotional difficulties, including physical and verbal aggression, impaired social functioning and disinhibited behaviour. Personal Care is a requirement for the People we support.

It is a really varied job, with all kinds of different activities to organise and participate in.
