Overview

We are currently recruiting for motivated, experienced and enthusiastic individuals for Bank Nurses. We are looking to recruit a candidate that shares our vision of enhancing the lives of our residents and recognise that to achieve an outstanding service, our staff must be supported, nurtured and developed to reach their potential.

The right candidate will be offered support through mentorship and training program to ensure they have all the right tools to succeed in their role as well as on the job training that is provided.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure that comprehensive, individualised care plans are in place and are regularly reviewed and evaluated in accordance with the NMC guidelines and company policy
  • Assist and to deal with emergencies and pre-planned treatment of patients
  • Manage own work load
  • Maintain ongoing assessment and review of all patients
  • Administer drugs and medicines
  • Apply surgical dressings and give other forms of treatment
  • Plan duty rotas and organise and direct the work and training
  • Advise on nursing care, disease prevention, nutrition, etc
  • Liaises with management and senior nurses to ensure effective communication for the benefit of the patients and their families
  • Plan, manage, provide and evaluate nursing care services for patients, supervise the implementation of nursing care plans
  • Staff may be required to wear PPE including masks, and undergo regular LFT and PCR testing if required according to government guidelines at the time
Requirements/Qualifications
  • Current registration and PIN number with NMC
  • Knowledge of Community Care Act, Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act
  • Prior experience in the care of the elderly and/or mentally ill
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Ability to assist in the management of an effective multi-disciplinary team and to be a team leader and player
  • Satisfactory enhanced DBS Check and where applicable a check against the DBS First List
  • Have the key skills to undertake the tasks which are listed above
