Job summary

Nuffield Health Ipswich Hospital is recruiting a bank radiographer to join the radiology department on a private site. The role covers diagnostic imaging across the department, wards and theatre, with hours ad hoc and flexible to hospital needs and the worker's availability.

Applicants should hold a BSc in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent) and a postgraduate qualification, and be committed to delivering care with accuracy, high technical standards and teamwork.

Qualifications

• BSc in diagnostic radiography or equivalent.
• Postgraduate qualification.
• Experience in diagnostic imaging is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the diagnostic imaging service.
• Carry out a varied caseload in the department, on the ward and in theatre.
• Work with leading practitioners and adopt new practices, equipment and facilities.
• Scope and develop policies and procedures.
• Supervise and develop junior colleagues.
• Deliver care with sensitivity and compassion.
