Job summary

Jersey Hospice Care in St Helier is seeking Bank Health Care Assistants to join our In Patient Unit (IPU). You will assist in delivering specialist palliative and end of life care to adults under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

The ideal candidate will hold a Level 2 vocational award in Adult Health and Social Care or equivalent (NVQ/QCF/RQF) and have experience in hospital, nursing/residential or community care settings.

Qualifications

• Level 2 vocational award in Adult Health and Social Care or NVQ/QCF/RQF.
• Experience working within hospital, nursing/residential care home or community care-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in the delivery of care to adults under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Maintain standards within the unit that ensure physical, psychological and spiritual care of the highest quality.
