Community Eye Care CHEC is seeking a Theatre Practitioner to join our flexible bank roster across the UK. You will undertake preoperative assessment, diagnostics, and theatre scrub in ophthalmic care, following AfPP good practice guidance.

We value patient-centred care and teamwork. Applicants should have ophthalmic theatre experience, and hold RN with NMC registration or ODP with HCPC registration. Strong communication and a passion for high-quality patient safety are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Previous ophthalmic theatre experience is required.
• Evidence of relevant professional development, clinically, preferably evidenced by certification RN with valid NMC Registration / ODP with valid HCPC Registration.
• Up-to-date knowledge in area of practice.
• Proficient in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Passion for delivering first-rate patient safety and care.

About the Role

The key responsibilities of the Theatre Practitioner will be to focus on patient centric care, participating in the entire pathways for all patients from pre-admission, surgery, and post-operative management.

You will be an experienced Theatre Practitioner undertaking preoperative assessment, diagnostics testing, and theatre scrub under AfPP good practice guidance.
