Practice Plus Group Holdings Limited is seeking an experienced Bank Operating Department Practitioner to work across Anaesthetics, Scrub and Recovery. This 0-hour bank contract offers flexible shifts and involvement in a multidisciplinary theatre team to deliver safe, high-quality perioperative care.

You will rotate through perioperative areas, support efficient theatre operations, and contribute to infection prevention and governance.

Competenze

• HCPC or NMC registration and degree in Operating Department Practice or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years' UK post-qualification experience across Anaesthetics, Scrub and PACU/Recovery.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent patient record-keeping and documentation skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced perioperative practitioner to work across a range of surgical specialties whilst enjoying the flexibility of bank working. You'll play a vital role in delivering safe, high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative journey and contribute to outstanding patient outcomes. As our Bank Operating Department Practitioner, you'll work as part of a multidisciplinary theatre team, providing expert care across the perioperative environment. You'll be involved in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care whilst supporting efficient theatre operations. This is a varied role where you'll rotate through Anaesthetics, Scrub and Recovery, ensuring patients receive safe, effective and compassionate care at every stage of their surgical journey. This role is offered on a bank (0-hour) contract. There are no guaranteed hours, and shifts will be offered depending on business needs. You can accept or decline shifts based on your availability, making this a flexible option-but it may not be suitable if you are seeking consistent or full-time hours. As our Bank ODP, you will be:

With your HCPC or NMC registration and degree in Operating Department Practice or equivalent professional qualification, you will also have:
