Job summary

Turning Point UK is seeking bank mental health support workers to cover three services in Manchester. You will work with residents at Pendlebury House, Douglas House and Birchwood, alongside NHS partners and the MDT, helping residents progress along their recovery pathways.

The role focuses on practical support, independence, and well-being, with flexible bank shifts across sites in Swinton, Didsbury and Lees.

Qualifications

• Heath and social care experience or qualification would be desirable although not essential.
• You must be an excellent communicator and possess good people skills.
• You should have an understanding of supporting people with mental health needs.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside Qualified Mental Health Nurses and the Multi-Disciplinary Team as a Support Worker.
• Develop good working relationships with residents and support their recovery journey.
• Assist with daily living skills and participate in activity programs.
