Job summary

Cygnet Hospital Harrogate is seeking a Bank Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to deliver outstanding care across two acute wards within a long-established mental health hospital. The role offers bank shifts at Harrogate with a full MDT team including psychiatrists, doctors and nursing therapists, and a rating of Good by the CQC.

You will contribute to care planning, CPD, and working closely with service users, families and the referrer to ensure a seamless pathway from referral to discharge

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a valid NMC PIN.
• Good understanding of latest nursing practices and guidelines.
• Commitment to patient recovery and safety in a mental health setting.
• Willingness to maintain documentation and undertake audits.

Responsibilities

• Produce outstanding written reports based on nursing assessments and observations.
• Work closely with the management team to develop the service, audit and improve quality.
• Attend all training and engage in CPD to further knowledge and promote nursing.
• Under NMC guidelines, ensure individual care plans are complete and maintained with residents and other healthcare professionals.
• Administer medicines within healthcare procedures and guidelines.

An experienced RMN/RNLD with a current Pin Number, you have
