A reputable educational institution in St Albans seeks an experienced cookery tutor to deliver diverse cuisines in evening classes. The successful candidate will facilitate hands-on cooking sessions, uphold Health and Safety standards, and design a structured course. Previous teaching experience and a culinary qualification are preferred, with opportunities for professional development provided. The Adult and Community Learning (ACL) Team at Oaklands College is looking for an experienced and qualified cookery tutor to deliver various cuisines. Offering new and innovative dishes as part of our full cost evening provision. If you have a specific cooking speciality and can offer a wide range of dishes and cuisines for all levels we would love to hear from you.
The courses will run in the evening covering a total of 4 weeks 2 hours per week from 7pm to 9pm.
The successful person for this role will need to have experience of cookery and previous teaching experience. It would be desirable if candidates have a QTS. However we can offer you in depth coaching and the opportunity to achieve a recognised teaching qualification whilst employed.
