Job summary

Qualifications

• The right to live and work in the UK.
• Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
• Experience in a care home or hotel/restaurant background is welcome.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team with a caring, positive attitude.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety, Infection Control and COSHH.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals and present them to a high standard and at the correct temperature.
• Support in the kitchen with meal preparation.
• Work with care staff to accommodate residents’ meal preferences.
• Wash crockery, cutlery and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain kitchen and dining areas in line with COSHH regulations.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines.
• Assist with kitchen deliveries and inventory rotation.
