Connaught Care Collection is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant in Chichester to support our hospitality team and assist with meal preparation and service. You’ll help maintain cleanliness and safety across the kitchen and contribute to a warm, welcoming dining experience for residents.

You’ll work closely with Chefs and a close-knit team, bringing a positive attitude, reliability, and attention to detail. On-site benefits and ongoing training are provided to help you grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or kitchen environment.
• A positive, flexible attitude and customer-focused approach.
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene; training provided.

Responsabilités

• Support our Chef de Parties, Sous Chefs and Head Chefs with food prep, service and kitchen cleanliness
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety throughout each shift
• Help plate and present meals with care and consistency
• Keep the kitchen well-stocked, organised and running like clockwork
• Assist with washing up and general cleaning duties to ensure smooth service
• Be a warm, friendly presence behind the scenes—residents will notice your energy, even if they don’t see you

What You’ll Be Doing:

Support our Chef de Parties, Sous Chefs and Head Chefs with food prep, service and kitchen cleanliness
