Job summary

Brainkind is seeking a Bank Housekeeping Assistant for the Preston, Lancashire area. The role includes cleaning designated areas to high hygiene standards, contributing to major cleaning tasks, and maintaining a homely environment for residents.

Training will be provided and accuracy in documentation is required. The successful candidate will earn £12.91 per hour, with an extra £1 per hour for bank holidays and weekends, and will benefit from a range of employee benefits and a supportive team

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning within a commercial or care/residential setting is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

Responsibilities

• The cleaning of all designated areas in the unit to a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness.
• Contribute to major cleaning tasks and maintain a homely living environment for service users.
• Undertake training relevant to the service and post.
• Deliver a quality and efficient service and complete documentation accurately and on time.
