Job summary

Advinia Health Care in Halifax is seeking a dedicated cleaner to join our resident-focused team. You will help keep bedrooms, corridors and public areas clean to our high standards, supporting the wellbeing of residents and working closely with colleagues.

No experience? No problem: we provide a comprehensive induction programme and training plan to prepare you for a successful start, with flexible pay and a fantastic working environment that values teamwork and care.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning of bedrooms, corridors, and public areas.
• Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitation of surfaces.
• Restocking toiletries and maintaining tidy storage areas.
• Assisting with linen duties when requested.
• Efficient and economical use of cleaning supplies.

Your Duties...

• Ensuring sections of bedrooms, corridor and public areas are kept clean and tidy to the


• required standard.


• Daily Cleaning (including but not limited to):


• Emptying waste bins and wiping out.


• Vacuuming throughout and mopping


• Cleaning dining rooms / lounges / lavatories.


• Cleaning taps and sinks.


• Spot cleaning all floorings.


• Weekly Cleaning (including but not limited to):


• Polishing all mirrors.


• Dusting handrails and radiators.


• Dusting and polishing furniture and windowsills.


• Washingfloors.


• Dusting pictures.


• Dusting light bulbs and fittings.


• Restocking toiletries, soaps, towels etc. as and when required.


• Efficient and economical use of supplies provided.


• Assisting with Linen Room duties when requested.


• Keeping storage areas clean and tidy and stocked up at all times.
