Main duties of the job

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Carry out all cleaning and housekeeping duties allocated through the daily worksheets for all departments, wards and patient bedrooms and as directed by the housekeeping team leader

Carry out all floor deep cleaning schedules as allocated by the housekeeping team leader

Manage all laundry items and ensure that par level stocks are maintained and that soiled linens are ready for collection

Follow all colour coded cleaning and that the correct chemicals are used for the task

Complete all mandatory training and maintain 100% compliance. Complete any training which supports continuous development

Support any ad hoc cleaning requests from any area of the hospital
