Eligibility Criteria
  • BSc or MSc Nursing (any specialisation) and Midwifery students who have completed at least one full acute care placement within an NHS trust.

If you meet the criteria for this role, you will either need to submit a signed recommendation form from NNUH placement/education staff, or complete an interview with the Practice Development and Education team. Further details will be shared once shortlisting has been completed. Please note depending on your course speciality, your bank shifts may be aligned with the most relevant department to reflect your area of study. Also, keep in mind this is a HCSW role so many skills that you can practice within a student capacity cannot be practiced whilst on shift working as a healthcare assistant.

Additional Requirements
  • Ability to work within and try different specialities.
