HMP Thameside is a male prison based in North London that has capacity for 1232 inmates. This role is working within inpatients. Hours

Thameside run 24 hour healthcare.

Shift patterns are either 0700 - 1930 or 1900 - 0730 Monday to Sunday.

This role is bank so will be ad hoc as and when needed - The maximum hours you can do per week is 22.5 or 90 over the month.

Salary

Weekdays - £16.58 Weekends & Nights - £19.18

Main duties of the job

As a Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will vary. You will

  • Support the registered nurse in implementing an agreed plan of care in association with the patient and in accordance with instructions and training received whilst promoting safe patient care
  • Be willing to develop and apply new skills to maintain and enhance clinical service delivery.

Qualifications required

  • NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care
