About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for Bank Healthcare Assistants to join our Primary Care team at HMP Thameside, a category B prison located in London. HMP Thameside is a male prison in North London with capacity for 1232 inmates. This role works within inpatient care.

Hours

Thameside runs 24‑hour healthcare. Shift patterns are apply or apply Monday to Sunday. This bank role will be ad‑hoc as and when needed. Maximum hours per week 22.5 or 90 over the month.

Salary

Weekdays – £16.58
Weekends & nights – £19.18

What you’ll be doing
  • Support the registered nurse in implementing an agreed plan of care in association with the patient and in accordance with instructions and training received whilst promoting safe patient care.
  • Be willing to develop and apply new skills to maintain and enhance clinical service delivery.
