Job summary

Spire Elland Hospital is seeking a Clinical Healthcare Assistant to support the Preassessment team on our Staffing Bank in Elland. This role offers flexible working and a competitive hourly rate, with weekly pay for bank colleagues.

You will assist the clinical team, perform routine care tasks, and learn to operate diagnostic equipment, venepuncture, and ECG recording. NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care and prior HCA hospital experience are essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• Experience working as an HCA in a hospital setting, surgical ward, or ward experience.
• System literacy; MS Office and SAP desirable.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assist the clinical team in providing exemplary care within the department.
• Provide Healthcare Assistance to the Nursing team.
• Move and set up diagnostic equipment after training, and apply technology for measurement, monitoring and treatment.
• Learn or perform Venepuncture and ECG Recording as required.
