A childcare organization in the United Kingdom is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals for Bank/Flexible Childcare Assistant positions. We are currently looking to appoint enthusiastic, reliable and friendly people to build our Bank/Flexible staff team at our childcare nurseries in Chichester, Brinsbury and Worthing
You will be a part of a warm and bubbly staff team and will benefit from access to training and qualification opportunities, opportunities for progression, and the first invite to applications for permanent positions within the setting.
This role is for ad hoc hours to support in covering staff absence, holiday and breaks, and in enhancing ratios to deliver support for children in receipt of additional funding.
You should possess proven communication skills and should be polite, patient and have a friendly approach with the children. You will be a strong team player and will support and assist the team with the day to day care of children, and the organisation and implementation of activities in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage appropriate to each age group.
First Steps Childcare has nurseries in several locations and offers childcare options right from birth through to children ready to start school. The settings are open 51 weeks of the year, with core opening hours of 7.30am to 6.00pm, closed only for Bank Holidays and the period between Christmas and New Year.
