Female Support Worker - Make Every Day Meaningful

Location: Cheltenham
Pay rate: £15.00 per hour
Hours: Bank
Shift patterns: 7.30 am – 7.30 pm

Are you someone who finds joy in helping others live life to the fullest?

We’re looking for a compassionate, confident Female Support Worker to join a small, dedicated 2:1 team supporting a lady in her own home in Cheltenham. She lives with complex health needs and uses a wheelchair, but her life is filled with creativity, laughter, and connection. She loves visiting local coffee shops, exploring vintage finds, gardening, and spending time in her community — and she’s looking for someone who can support her to continue enjoying these things safely and independently.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide warm, person-centred care and emotional support
  • Encourage independence and wellbeing through daily routines and meaningful activities
  • Support with personal care, mobility, and health-related tasks
  • Promote positive engagement and help manage behaviours that can be challenging
  • Keep accurate records and work in line with care plans and CQC standards
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience supporting individuals with complex care, challenging behaviour, or mental health needs
  • Understanding of or willingness to learn about multiple allergies
  • A kind, patient, and professional attitude
  • A full UK driving licence to support outings and social activities
  • (For waking nights, driving is not required)
