A leading healthcare provider in Uphill is looking for Facilities Assistants to join their Temporary Staffing Bureau. The successful candidates will perform cleaning, catering, and portering duties to support patient care. This role requires a flexible approach and training will be provided. At University Hospitals Bristol & Weston NHS Foundation Trust we want to recruit a number of Facilities Assistants to our Temporary Staffing Bureau to create a bank of temporary workers who are keen to work flexibly across Weston. As a Bank Facilities Assistant you will work within the Facilities team which provides an appropriate environment for patient care. Duties include general cleaning, the preparation and presentation of patients' meals and drinks, portering duties and working within our kitchens and cafe. You will be allocated duties from the key tasks listed below and will be expected to demonstrate a flexible attitude to work, to meet the needs of service delivery to the patients within Healthcare premises. Most of the shifts we have available are term time - please note that while the bank is flexible, the more availability that you have, the more shifts you will be able to work.
You won’t be able to book shifts until all of your training is completed. Please be aware, for your training compliance it is best that these shifts are completed close together.
