Job summary

Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse for a bank, part-time role with weekend work. Up to £26.50 per hour depending on experience.

You’ll be part of a dedicated team in a consultant-led ward, delivering high standards of patient care while working with top clinical talent and gaining exposure to advanced practices and facilities.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC).
• Experience in ward nursing and patient care preferred.
• Demonstrates flexibility and strong communication in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Be flexible, motivated, an excellent communicator and team worker
• Join a close-knit team headed by our matron on our consultant-led ward
• Fully understand and pay close attention to each patient’s needs
• Work directly with some of the best clinical talent around
• Gain valuable experience of new practices, equipment and facilities

Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital

The Exeter Nuffield hospital is based next to the RD&E hospital in Wonford, Exeter. The hospital has 2 theatres, as well as a hybrid cardiac catheter laboratory/theatre and an Endoscopy suite. There are two ward areas: an inpatient area with 21 beds and a day-case ward with 12 beds. We also have a busy outpatient department, pharmacy, physiotherapy, and radiology department including an MRI scanner. We specialise in elective orthopaedic and spinal surgery, cardiology including invasive procedures, general surgery, plastics and cosmetic surgery, ENT, and gynaecology. The Hospital has a MAKO robot that undertakes some of the joint replacement surgery which we have become well known for in this field of surgery.
