Shaftesbury South East is recruiting Enabling Support Workers to join our supported living service at Martello Road, which supports 12 adults with learning disabilities.

We’re looking for caring, creative, and community-minded individuals who are passionate about helping people live full and flourishing lives. If you’re driven by values of being Open, Enabling, Inclusive, and Courageous, we’d love to hear from you.

Please note: This role does not qualify for visa sponsorship, as the salary requirements set by the Home Office are not satisfied.

About The Role

As an Enabling Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in promoting independence and supporting people to learn new skills and overcome barriers. You’ll help individuals access education, volunteering, and employment opportunities, and accompany them to social and entertainment activities such as bowling, swimming, cinema, theatre shows, and more.

You’ll Also Support People With
  • Attending health appointments
  • Shopping and maintaining their homes
  • Writing support plans and risk assessments
  • Completing audits as required

This role involves working independently while being supported by a strong team and management structure.
