Job summary

Shaftesbury is recruiting for a Bank Enabling Support Worker at Brookside House in Edgware, north London. You will provide support and encouragement following the person-centred support plan and work to help residents lead full, flourishing lives.

You may assist with personal care, records, and medication, and may cover sleep-in sessions. Sleep-ins pay an additional £60 per session; a standard DBS/Access NI check is required, with a commitment to safeguarding and inclusion.

About The Role

As a Bank Enabling Support Worker it will be your role to provide support and encouragement, by taking direction from both the person supported and the person centred support plan.

You will be required to maintain accurate records while at work, in line with the service requirements. You may also be required to administer personal care and medication.

There will be the opportunity to cover sleep in sessions. You will be paid an additional £60 per sleep in.

Brookside is a modern residential care home for adults with disabilities, set in a leafy area of Edgware, north London.

The service takes a person-centred, flexible approach to ensure residents have control and choice over their care. We know that everyone’s needs and aspirations are different – that all sorts of things add up to a flourishing life.

Residents are actively involved in their community, enjoying regular fitness classes, sports, healthy eating support and much more. Independent living is an area of speciality, in addition to nursing care provided onsite.
