Job summary

Practice Plus Group is seeking Bank Drivers to cover Newton Abbot and Totnes. You will transport Clinicians to patient homes during Out of Hours periods and help with admin tasks as needed.

Shifts are casual/bank, with evenings and weekends required, and short-notice cover for sickness or cancellations and bank holidays may be requested. Hourly rates range from £12.71 to £19.00 per hour, with benefits including discount schemes and membership eligibility.

Practice Plus Group is a trusted provider of urgent and out-of-hours healthcare services across the UK, dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care beyond standard clinic hours. We believe in supporting our clinical teams with essential roles that help ensure patients receive timely and effective care in their homes.

We are currently seeking Bank Drivers to join us to cover the areas of Newton Abbott and Totnes.

As a Bank Driver, your role will play a vital part in the Out of Hours Service by ensuring Clinicians are transported to patient homes safely and efficiently, which will ensure our patients receive prompt care when they need it most. The role will also involve assisting with administrative and reception duties when necessary.

A bank role comes with the flexibility to pick and choose your shifts, however please expect to work evenings and weekends as this service operates Out of Hours. Ideally you will be available to work at short notice covering sickness and cancellations at times, as well being available to work bank holidays at times too.
