A regional health service in Scotland is seeking Bank Drivers to provide essential transport support for mobile clinicians. An exciting opportunity has arisen for Bank Drivers to join Ayrshire Urgent Care Service (AUCS).
You will deliver driving support for mobile clinicians within AUCS. This is a vital role in Primary and Urgent Care, ensuring that mobile units are maintained to a high standard and provide safe, reliable, and efficient transport services for our clinicians.
You should be able to demonstrate a high level of driving competence, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently using your own initiative. The role requires excellent organisational skills, the ability to prioritise tasks effectively, and a commitment to working efficiently.
Evidence of ongoing personal development and a willingness to undertake any training relevant to the role is essential.
You will be required to work as part of an integrated out-of-hours team, able to work collaboratively and in partnership with other team members.
Out of Hours period 1800-0800 weekdays and 24/7 at weekends and public holidays.
Example of Shift times: 0800-1300 / 0700-1700 / 0800-1800 / 1300-1800 / 1400-1900 / 0000-0800.
A UK car licence/car ownership is essential to this role.
