Overview

This is a bank role with shifts available at all District Nursing bases: Biggin Hill, Orpington, Chislehurst & Beckenham. Salary is £35,763 - £43,466 Inc HCAS per annum pro rata, depending on previous experience. Flexible working - Ad hoc. The Bank Community Nurse role is a highly skilled position which involves skills such as Picc lines/IVs, key to being an excellent Community Nurse. As a Bank Community Nurse you will deal with a variety of patients in their own homes, and the role will involve, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities
  • Contribution to the holistic assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of patient care.
  • Implementing, monitoring and maintaining high standards of care.
  • Re-assessing and re-evaluating programmes of care when needed.
  • Supporting the in-house mentorship training scheme with placement students and staff.
  • Being an active member of the team and sharing best practice whenever possible.

This is a challenging but rewarding position where you will be supported within your teams and by regular reflection and professional training.

Available shifts: Monday - Sunday 8.15am - 4.15pm and 10.45am - 6:45pm. Please note that all Community Nursing roles are designated essential car users; therefore applicants should have a current driving licence and access to a vehicle to be considered for this position.
