A health service in Scotland is looking for a Bank Catering Assistant to work at University Hospital Ayr. Responsibilities include assisting with food preparation and delivery, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness in catering services. Candidates should possess good communication and practical skills, as well as a desire to complete the Food Hygiene Certificate within the first three months of employment. The position is offered on a permanent bank contract, with full training provided.

Bank Catering Assistant based at University Hospital Ayr.
You will work as part of the Catering Production & Services Team, working within all areas, assisting in all aspects of food preparation, delivery, service, wash-up cleaning duties relating to the provision of catering services to Patients, Staff, Visitors and for functions.
You will have good communication, verbal or otherwise and practical skills are essential. Desirable for current Food Hygiene Certificate, or essential to complete with the first 3 months of employment. Desirable previous experience of working within a large scale catering environment would be an advantage, however full training will be given. All preferred candidates must attend a corporate induction programme before commencement of employment; thereafter an ongoing program of mandatory and statutory training.
