Job summary

Christadelphian Care Homes in Bournemouth is seeking an experienced Care Assistant (Bank) to support residents' daily needs on flexible day shifts, with occasional nights. The role involves assisting with activities, monitoring wellbeing, and maintaining dignity and independence.

You’ll administer medications, document care activities, and work with the home team to ensure safety and high standards of service. DBS check is required; sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in UK care industry.
• Able to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Fully computer literate and experienced with Safe Handling of Medicines.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication and maintain resident care documentation.
• Work with the team to meet residents' physical, social, emotional needs.
• Follow procedures for accidents and emergencies.
• Support security and risk management within the home.
• Report repairs and maintenance needs to the Home Manager.
