Job summary

Welford Healthcare is seeking compassionate Care Assistants to support residents in a care centre setting. No prior experience is required, as full training and progression opportunities are provided. You will need good communication and teamwork skills, and be flexible with weekend shifts. IT proficiency with electronic systems is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience isn’t required, but a kind personality is.
• Willingness to complete training and develop qualifications.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Flexibility to work alternate weekends.
• Good IT skills and ability to work with electronic devices/computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Organise and take part in social and recreational activities.
• Assist with residents’ personal care and mealtimes.
• Provide support to help residents maintain their independence.
• Get to know residents and their families to provide the best possible care.
• Maintain accurate records.
