Are you an experienced Care Assistant seeking flexible opportunities within a high-quality care environment? Sandstone Care Group is looking for skilled professionals to join our bank team at The Oaks Care Home. With options for day and night shifts, we support your work-life balance while valuing the expertise you bring to enhance the lives of our residents. Alongside full paid training and a guided induction, we provide continuous support to help you excel in your role. The Oaks Care Home, our luxurious, purpose-built 73-bed residence in Newtown, Powys, opened in January 2020 and boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including a bistro, hair and nail salon, spacious lounges, and landscaped gardens. We focus on delivering exceptional care, backed by advanced care planning and nurse-call technology to enhance resident wellbeing.

Responsibilities
  • As a Bank Care Assistant, you will:
  • Lead by example in delivering high standards of personal care, hygiene, and support in daily activities
  • Foster strong connections with residents, offering emotional support and companionship
  • Encourage and facilitate residents' engagement in hobbies and personal interests, enhancing their quality of life
  • Support a professional and welcoming care environment
  • Work collaboratively and flexibly to meet the dynamic needs of our residents
