Job summary

Agincare UK is seeking a Home Care Assistant to help people stay independent in their own homes. You’ll provide daily support, personal care, meals, and companionship, delivering compassionate, person-centred care across our local communities.

No previous care experience is required—just a warm, team‑oriented attitude, a full UK driving licence, and flexibility to cover weekends. We offer funded training, flexible contracts, and a pay rate of £12.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• Warm and compassionate nature with great people skills and a team‑oriented attitude.
• A full UK driving licence is required.
• Flexibility to work alternating weekends.
• A minimum of 12 months remaining on right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Supporting people with daily routines, household tasks, and personal care.
• Helping with shopping, meals, and making a comforting cup of tea.
• Providing companionship, a listening ear and friendly conversation.
• Assisting with medication as needed.
