Because everday, someone relies on your calm presence and kind heart.

As the rest of the world wakes up, we begin one of the most important shifts of the day ensuring our residents feel safe, calm, and cared for throughout the day. If you're the kind of person who finds fulfilment in quietly making a difference, this is your moment.

What we offer:

  • £12.21 per hour
  • Contracted to Bank
  • Paid DBS
  • On-site parking
  • Uniform provided

Cherrybrook Care Home is a beautifully designed, 120-bedded home in Bradford, split across two specialist units. We support individuals with complex mental health needs, dementia, and behaviours that challenge and we do so with compassion, structure and warmth.

We’re looking for a Care Assistant to join our close-knit day team. This is a role where attentiveness and gentleness go hand in hand, and where a quiet word or reassuring presence can mean everything to someone.

What your day will look like:

As a Care Assistant, you'll help residents with personal care, meals, and daily activities—always promoting dignity and independence. You’ll provide companionship, support with mobility, and keep care records up to date. Whether it's helping someone get ready in the morning or enjoying a chat over tea, you'll make a real difference every day.

About you:

You’ll have either your NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or a Care Certificate. If not, we ask that you bring 6–12 months’ experience working in a care home, ideally supporting older people or those with dementia. But most importantly, you’ll bring a calm, reassuring nature and a real passion for people.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • A kind and observant approach to care
  • Confidence in supporting elderly people during the day
  • A commitment to teamwork and consistent care
  • A warm smile

Why join Cherrybrook:

Cherrybrook is part of Care Concern Group, a family-owned provider with over 100 care homes across the UK. We believe in delivering care to the highest standard, and our five core values guide everything we do:

Trust | Respect | Passion | Kindness | Inclusivity

These values define who we are and underpin everything we do, from the smallest interaction to the most complex care. If you live by these principles, this is a place where you can belong and truly make a difference.

If you're ready to bring peace of mind and gentle care to our residents during the day, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply now and let’s make every day feel like home.
