Job summary

Medical Update Online is seeking Care Assistants to support residents at Hunters Moor Neurological Rehabilitation Centre in Birmingham. This is flexible bank work with shifts offered according to service needs.

You will support adults with brain injuries and neurological conditions in a Level 2 rehabilitation setting, providing personal care, mobility help and social engagement while following care plans and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Must be aged 18 or over.
• At least six months of paid UK care experience within the last two years.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Experience in neurological care or supporting people with stroke and mental health needs.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with personal care and daily routines.
• Assist with mobility, meals and hydration and encourage independence.
• Spend time with residents and build positive relationships.
• Follow care plans and keep accurate records.

Pay: From £14.24 - £18.50 an hour, inclusive of holiday pay

We are looking for experienced Care Assistants to join the bank team at Hunters Moor Neurological Rehabilitation Centre in Birmingham.

You ll support adults with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, strokes and progressive neurological conditions in a specialist Level 2 rehabilitation and complex care setting.
