Job Overview

We are looking for a BANKBand 5 Registered General Nurse to join our friendly, inclusive and forward thinking District Team, working across the West Lancashire area to provide care and support to patients in community settings. Here at Clayton House, we are committed to continuous professional development, therefore we offer all our colleagues to attend additional courses such as Palliative care or Frailty to further improve their skills and knowledge. The team is based out of Clayton House in Burscough. Please note that this is a BANK role.

Responsibilities
  • To work as part of the 24-hour district nursing service, under the direction of the District Nursing Team Manager / Leader, providing high quality holistic care to patients.
  • The District Nurse role carries delegated responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidence-based nursing to patients in their own homes.
  • To assume delegated responsibility for the supervision of the team in, personal commitments to be met.

Qualifications
  • A Degree/Diploma in Adult Nursing.
  • First level registered nurse.
  • Experience working as part of a multi‑disciplinary team / multi-agency working (Desirable).
  • You need to have an understanding of undertaking complex assessments and the planning and evaluation of care package.
  • Excellent Communication, both written and verbal.
  • Evidence of effective interpersonal skills.
  • Clinical Risk assessment skills.
  • Ability to problem solve and make clinical decisions.
  • Understanding of NMC standards and implications to practice.
  • Ability to work independently in community setting.
  • High clinical standards.

Package Description

As a Bank Band 5 Registered General Nurse, you'll be working as part of the HCRG Care Group Team in our West Lancashire service. As well as the attractive hourly rates of pay, at HCRG Care Group you will benefit from: £18.71 an hour.

Self-booking and access to all bank shifts.

Staff are given access to all Bank shifts within their Business Unit and can self-book providing they meet the shift requirements.
