Job summary

Barchester Healthcare Horley is seeking a Bank Activities Coordinator to support our care home residents with imaginative, fun and motivational activities. This casual, part-time role offers flexible hours and the possibility to join the Bank Pool for shifts across local homes.

You'll be warm, empathetic and well organised, helping residents stay engaged with families and the community while creating tailored activity programmes and benefiting from excellent training and development

Qualifications

• Warm, empathetic and personable
• Good organisational skills and ability to plan ahead
• Experience in activities coordination is an advantage but not required

Responsibilities

• Develop tailored activities programmes for residents
• Engage with residents and families to understand interests
• Coordinate activities inside the home and across the local community
• Support delivery of flexible activities aligned with residents’ wellbeing
