Job description

Job Title: Locum Physiotherapist

Banding: 6

Location: London

Duration: Until 3 May 2025

Rate: £24 - £27 per hour

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 08:00am-16:00pm or 10:00am-18:00pm

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physiotherapist to join our team in London. This role involves working with acute and older patients, providing essential physiotherapy services in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will evaluate, treat, and plan care for patients with complex needs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assessing, treating, and planning interventions for patients with medical, neurological, respiratory, trauma, frailty, and cognitive impairments.
  • Collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans.
  • Managing complex case management and discharge planning.
  • Supervising junior staff and students.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Providing education and support to patients and caregivers.
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • HCPC registered Physiotherapist
  • Experience in acute medical, neurology, respiratory, trauma, frailty, and cognitive impairments
  • Strong skills in case management and discharge planning
  • Experience supervising juniors and students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Proficiency with relevant software and equipment
