Job summary

Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 8b Principal Psychological Practitioner to provide senior psychological and clinical leadership across acute and urgent services in Birmingham. The role involves complex clinical work and strategic service development.

Qualifications

• Doctoral-level training in Clinical Psychology accredited by the British Psychological Society.
• HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
• Eligibility for entry onto the Register of Chartered Psychologists.
• Graduate Basis for Registration with the British Psychological Society.
• Post-doctoral training in specialist areas of psychological practice.
• Significant post-qualification experience, preferably at Band 8a or higher.
• Experience in psychological assessment and individual/group treatment.
• Experience across inpatient, outpatient, community and primary/secondary care.
