• Post graduate Diploma / MSc in a relevant field is required.
• Candidates should have significant experience as a Clinical Pharmacist in the NHS.

Job Description

As such, Direct Medics are working in partnership with an NHS Trust in the Warrington & Halton area to find an experienced and dedicated Band 8a Clinical Pharmacist who will be based in Warrington, providing a comprehensive specialist Women’s, Childrens & Neonatologypharmacy service on the wards. This role will include clinical services to relevant wards, overseeing junior pharmacists on rotation and governance work for the specialty.

Locum roles with Direct Medics are a great way of enhancing your earning potential as well as working with some of the most professional and successful Hospital Pharmacy teams in the country. This role is maternity cover until June 2026 and requires ideally full-time working (Monday to Friday, 08.45 - 17.00).

Requirements

• Valid GPhC Registration
• Post graduate Diploma / MSc in relevant field or demonstrate advanced professional practice, knowledge and training
• Significant post registration experience as a Clinical Pharmacist in a relevant field within a NHS Hospital setting (UK)
• Independent prescriber or evidence of completing the “preparing to prescribe” requirements of the NES post registration foundation programme.
• Full UK Drivers license and access to a car
• Right to Live and Work in the UK
