What You Will Do:

Lead and manage a comprehensive diagnostic Audiology Service, overseeing both routine and complex assessments.

Conduct specialised diagnostic evaluations for referrals from GPs, ENT specialists, and self-referrals.

Deliver rehabilitative care for paediatric and adult patients, including fitting, maintenance, and review of hearing aids.

Provide expert counselling and communication support for patients, carers, and relatives to optimise hearing outcomes.

Select, verify, and programme digital hearing aids for children and adults using advanced clinical techniques.

Carry out outcome measures to assess hearing aid effectiveness and inform ongoing treatment plans.

Develop and implement individual management plans, contributing to ENT clinics with diagnostic support.

Ensure the maintenance and calibration of all audiology equipment, including Kamplex and Intracoustics devices, for precise and reliable results.

Manage and maintain paediatric assessment equipment, minimising the need for patient travel to mainland hospitals.

Foster strong collaborative relationships with multidisciplinary colleagues and external partners to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.
