Job Title: Forensic Psychologist
Band:8A
Location:Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
Working Hours: 2-3 days per week
Rate:Competitive, to be discussed upon application

We are seeking a dedicated Band 8A Forensic Psychologist to work part-time for our NHS client based in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start.

What will your responsibilities be?

This role involves working within a prison and forensic setting, delivering psychological assessments, interventions, and support to individuals within the criminal justice system. You will be responsible for contributing to risk assessments, treatment planning, and supporting the wider multidisciplinary team in managing complex cases. The postholder will also participate in case formulation meetings and ensure documentation is maintained in accordance with professional and NHS standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist (essential)
• Experience in forensic and/or prison settings
• Strong clinical formulation and communication skills
• A commitment to delivering evidence-based, person-centred care
