Sanctuary Personnel is helping to place a Band 8a Clinical Lead Pharmacist in Ealing, London. This ongoing full-time locum role focuses on delivering advanced clinical pharmacy services within a 72-bed community rehab facility and multidisciplinary teams.

You will oversee inpatient clinical pharmacy operations, contribute to policy development, and support EPMA rollouts while maintaining high standards of patient care and governance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services to inpatient wards.
  • Ensure optimal medication management through medicines optimisation and patient reviews.
  • Support admissions processes, manage medicine supplies, and handle To Take Away medicines (TTAs) where required.
  • Deliver clinical support across Older People’s Services and contribute to operational efficiency.
  • Oversee pharmacy staff, manage rotas, and provide professional supervision and support.
  • Play a key role in drafting, reviewing, and implementing pharmacy policies and SOPs.
  • Participate actively in EPMA rollouts and technological developments.
  • Contribute to audits, quality improvement projects, and governance initiatives, supporting CQC compliance.
  • Provide clinical supervision and competency assessments for clinical pharmacists.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and pharmacy leadership to deliver integrated, high-quality healthcare services.
